Tenpenny Trouble

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 7:40 pm

Earlier in the game, I completed the "Power of the Atom" quest without really doing much research about it first. I ended up saving Megaton and was awarded with my own house there etc.

After discovering Tenpenny Tower I've now decided I'd quite like to live there. But I do not want to reset the quest (Power of the Atom) through the console as I do not want to destroy Megaton. So instead I have added the Tenpenny Tower empty suite key and deed to my inventory through the console. So I now own the Tenpenny Suite. Here's the problem; when I go downstairs to purchase home improvements from Lydia Montenegro, the home improvements are not in her inventory - because I haven't completed "The Power of the Atom" properly.

Is there a way in which I can manipulate her (through the console) to sell these home improvements to me? Things like themes, and all the other utilities...

Thanks.

I don't know how to do it through the console but http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/4778 will give you the suite with upgrades available.

Or, wait, then start another playthrough. You won't be able to do everything with one character.

Either console commands, or a new playthrough. Pickpocketing doesnt work.
