Ever since I started applying mods to Fallout 3, it would CTD on exit.

but lately I noticed a couple of times it was able to exit seemingly without incident & I don't know what this means

Mine does that quite often as well. I haven't thought anything of it.

I figured that my concern wouldn't be well received there


So did my Oblivion so that part wasn't my "issue" this part was...

I used to have the same thing happen. They game would crash after I saved and exited and I didn't think anything of it since I had already saved. Sometimes it would just exit without a problem. I did read about a fix for this, enable fast exit. I did this and have not had a crash on exit since.

I still personally don't think its anything to worry about, unless you start noticing other problems. Mine exits normally on some occasions and sometimes it crashes upon exiting.
