FWE: wich difficulty setting are you playing?

I allways played default FWE combined with MMM and WMK. Im thinking about going to higher damage multiplier, for pure adrenaline.

Wich is your configuration?

Also, do you use some aditionals "help" mods? Some armor or weapon?

Right now i don't play FWE due to Impervious power armor mod not working .. But i got some mods which make it similar to FWE...

from past experiance of playing FWE on harsh. with MM 1-3 spawns... the wasteland can be nasty .. Now go add a self rule where you can only save at Megaton house and no where else... You are gonna be running for cover and hiding at every damn battle......

I started a game with MMM+FWE (defaults seetings, damage multiplier x3). Im not sure if this will be unplayable afther but until now is delicious.

I like that about saving just in Megaton house but, never have you CTD′s?

I write in a notepad file the times I died in every level. When I start a new game I try to improve my stats. This is my way to fear dead and play more realistic.

I rarely get CTD's . Saving only at Megaton house makes the game far more challenging .. Imagine getting a very valuable gun/armor and getting near 0 health in a battle.. It really gets you dang nervous
I recommend downloading the BOS patrols mod which adds BOS patrols inside DC wasteland .. Just yesterday i remember being almost dead surrounded by supermutants(with 1-3 spawns of MMM Urban DC is a massive hell hole) ... then suddenly you see plasma rifles and Gatling lasers and miniguns firing at the supermutants by BOS patrol(with the rules i use seeing a BOS patrol at dire situations is like getting a gift from god) .. to say that area was cleansed..and my 3 hours long unsaved game got saved as i limped back to megaton ...

lol. I understand perfectly that "gift from god feeling". I allways quit a game if I die just once before level 6. I was trying yersteday to go in the vault where Operation Anchorage starts (I was level 4). It was pure adrenaline with those super mutants and that FWE x3 damage multiplier. Afhter to kill all, I was relaxed near the vault entrance and something started to shoot me from my bak (minigun sound). I was vounded and runned like a rabit to find cover with this "I will die feeling" when some outcasts over a structure started to open fire against the mutants.

I have sometimes CTD′s. Is not often but sometimes a spawn does my game crashes and I hate me for not saving when that happens. There is a easy way to do your rule and prevent CTD′s however. Instead of "only save in Megaton house", save everywhere and "only reload the last save in Megaton house" if you died, "reload last savegame" if you crashed.
