Hi I'm not a computer expert so please bare with me if this has been explained before, but im having some problems with my game freezing from time to time. i would say every 15 to 20 minutes of game time. I have turned off antialiasing and anitropic filtering. The game isn't installed into my program files folder. Although the "default" setting for the game set the detail on ultra I have turned that down as well all the way to medium without improving stability.

Here are my pc specs:
Intel Core i7-2600 cpu @ 3.40 ghz
16 gigs of ram
windows 7 64bit
AMD Radeon HD 6700 video card

Not sure if I need to mention anything else. The game is playable like it is but I would like the game to at least as stable as it was on the 360 and right now it isnt. I have the problem with and without mods. Can anyone help me?

I had seen the quad core thing but I wasnt sure I even had one. I'll give the fix a shot thanks!

M48A5 your a superhero! The picking a number of cores thingie seems to have done it. My magical number was 2.

Does this mean I can raise my resolution and all that jazz back up now? \o/
