Ideas for future DLC

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 8:42 am

I want to start off by saying that I LOVE the FO universe...in fact alot of my dreams are FO based - wierd huh?
In any case...what I think would be a cool DLC is a mini mission where ya gotta hack the old CIA or FBI data base at some point...but in doing so you wind up with a PipBoy mod that updates regularily (in real life), and uses the info from an online wiki.
I currently play with my comp on next to my console so that I can access a FO wiki - just to be sure I'm getting all the backstory on a certain NPC or basic walkthrough on a quest/mission....to have this info available on my PipBoy - at any given moment would be fan-flippin'-tastic!
...k...I'm done...thanks for all the great games Bethesda!

Is gold still valuable enough though?
Dead Money should have answered this question. 10,000 bottle caps a bar
Maybe we should wait till Fallout 4 comes out before we come up with DLC ideas for it.
Maybe great DLC ideas might decide where it goes

I personally am voting for a DLC in the Diamond Crater in Arkansas. It would be valuable as the only place in US where you can mine diamonds. It would be great as a blood diamond slave center in Fallout universe.

Well, I'd be more interested in the next Fallout itself than the DLC's, but, why not. I WANT A DLC WHERE THE ENCLAVE COMES BACK FOR THE 15TH TIME AND IS SO EVIL, SO YOU HAVE TO KILL THEM ALL AGAIN! Good idea right? AND I ALSO WANT ONE THAT LETS YOU PLAY AFTER THE MAIN QUEST! *Sarcasm if you couldn't tell* Anyways, I think it all depends on where the game takes place, but I'm open to anything really.

BoS vs NCR, or Enclave vs Legion
*Green is the victors, BoS training < NCR numbers - this is already evident in lore. Enclave training & tech > Legion training and tech - Even with Legions larger numbers the Advance PA Mk.II used by the Enclave would be too much and the superior weapons they use would rip through Legion, this is also evident in lore ( Enclave/Lanius ending)

That depends on what game's your referring to.. Fallout 1 + 2 power armor and weapons against NCR Armor and weapons... Brotherhood would destroy them easy..

I never said that.

Don't twist my words around.

I said I'd rather have more lore on something that doesn't have sufficient lore than to have new isolated lore.
So Dead Money? While a [censored] fantastic DLC, what lore did it really provide to help the overall lore?
It was an isolated place with isolated lore who's only connection was to another DLC with isolated lore.

I'm not against it wholeheartedly.
I'm just saying that I think that DLC's should be used to flesh out aspects of the game that needs more lore.
So Sierra Madre? Apart from Elijah, what connection does it actually have to the Mojave Wasteland?

And the mystery is solved.
Really though, it doesn't have any real connection, it's still just a side-adventure which is completely isolated from the main events of the game.

If we are talking about Fallout 4 it depends on where it's set. If it's in Florida (which i hope for). The keys of New Orleans (get there by boat)

If we are talking about them magicly going back and doing another for fallout 3 (which is right next to pigs flying in its unliklyness) Philly.
If we are talking about New vegas i don't really know.

I had an idea float around my head where we were on Mothership Zeta traveling to different planets and making love to green alien babes.

Also conquering other planets like space pirates and smuggling psycho and jet across the galaxy.

Fallout to me is like a legendary Anime.

Absolutely not.
That would kill the whole series to those who have played every game and loved every second of it!

Fallout is not about aliens or intergalactic travel or anything like that.

And it's not a legendary Anime.

If it's not an "anime," then why do we call them toons?

It's a story about human survival, not a cartoon or a comic book.

Y so serious?

Maybe to you it's ONLY about human survival, to me, it's MANY things including about a human that knows how to be an efficient killer. So of course predators are going to survive in the wild, the strong always survive no matter what.
