I have been having trouble trying to install fallout new vegas for over a week now, every day it says steam servers busy. i can download any other game, play any other game. ive researched into deleting the blop file, changing the download origin and tried re installing steam but nothing has worked. anyone that can help me please tell me anything. I live in australia if that helps, please suggest a download region instead of saying change it, because there are lots of them.

If your wondering what my PC specs are if they have any fault in downloading it:

AMD Radeon HD 5770
AM3 FX-8150
Kingston HyperX 1600, 16 gig RAM
AsRock, 990FX Extreme 4 (BIOS Updated to 1.50)
Antec TruePower 750 Watt
120 gig, Intel Solid State Drive
2 Tb, Seagate Barracuda Hard Disk Drive
Running on Windows 7 Home premium

All drivers are up to date, windows fully up to date.

SOunds like a steam issues. Have a look at this: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5483-YUFN-0521

They talks about firewalls, antivirus, and conflicting background programs. Go through it. CHeck to make sure antivirus isnt doing anything strange. Make sure your firewall is lettings steam do its thing.
As for the download locations, Just choose one that works.

Hmmm seems like you should be able to install it since you can download any other game. This happens even when you try to install directly from the steam library?

I would try to contact steam and tell them about it. If you havent already.
