How much does House help the smaller communities?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 5:56 pm

Well Goodsprings is in need of protection, geckos, raiders, escaped prisoners etc. Also dictators (well, ones that i'm aware of my knowledge of dictators affects on train timetables is pretty limited) such as Mussolini and Hitler didn't really do anything about trains (Mussolini made one train run on time, that was before he was in power, Hitler was pretty bad for train timetables because he liked to travel by private train, but anyway i'm off subject). Besides what's so bad about making trains run on time, whats next will House be branded a villain for eliminating other small nuisances such as that little bit of rain and it being slightly too hot?
If House makes all clocks in Vegas precise and restores all of Vegas to proper glory, Oh he will be the the pariah of humanity. :stare:

Plus there was the whole reference to Mussilini with making the monorail run on time. Makes me think Obsidian was hinting at something.

It was probably more of a reference to Howard Hughes, who was known for being excessive compulsive over little details. House is, after all, based partly on Hughes.

He is a dictator and much like everyone else you meet in the wastelands do not want to share a single thing.

Save for the Followers of Apocalypse.

I think the OP prefers when people post something that's actually beneficial to the thread.

Sure.. Keep telling yourself that.

House keeps an eye on Goodpsrings, because he's appreciative that it helped the Courier, as well as Primm (If you don't give it a Sheriff). Freeside really just depends on how you did G.I Blues, (he normally either lets the Kings govern it, or takes over) and Westside is pretty much ignored for just about every ending except maybe NCR.

Novac really just gets ignored altogether.

He pays more attention and assists the outside settlements more than the Independence ending, but not all of the people are fond of his "assistance".
