Which Hud do you think is better?

Post » Thu Nov 19, 2009 12:27 am

they wont use different Huds on different platforms...

well, PC might be modified a bit... wider FoV, etc.... but PS3 and 360 are ALWAYS identical in pretty much every way on every game

Love the simplicity of the E3 HUD. I find it less distracting, tbh.

Maybe the HUD's will be different for each faction. F.e. Hi-tech and clean for Security, Grimy and boot-legged for Resistance.

there will probably be some grundgy effects added to the resitance hud, or likely at any rate, but it wouldn't change the actual size and layout like we see between E3 and Pax.

Pax seems easier to read at a glance IMO... but that's just opinion (the whole thread is opinion :P)

I like the Pax hud more, Vibrant I guess could describe. Nice and easy to read at a glance.

The pax hud looks more streamline but I have no preference either way seeing as how it doesn't show a hud For PC which may be alot different than the Console huds.

Hi, I like TF2's HUD, the health at the bottom left, and the ammo at the bottom right. Will I be able to do this, if anyone knows I'd appreciate the heads up.

Or maybe switch the health and w/e is on the top right around so that health and ammo are on one side.

On pc, you're probably able to move the bars around (In some of SD's previous games you could). I could be wrong though.

Will they even do one? I know that they use a lot of "well this stat tracking thing supports selfishness" wouldn't they also do "well the unskilled will see that they keep dying from person x over and over again, we don't want them discouraged"

One of my fears is that they will force us to hold hands, instead of letting us see everything.

no, by kill list I think he means when teammate A kills Enemy B... where does the text pop up telling you so.

You probably get your personal K/D at end of round, but no one elses (BFBC2 does the same thing actually)

Well how else do the unskilled learn? It needs to be there so you can track who is killing who.

This is exactly I what I was referring to. I want to see who is killing who and preferable with which weapon.

True, not all are that good, the one on MW2 is too small and fades into the background. It doesn't need to be huge just easily readable at a glance.

It's fun to see something like this
"Dysfunkshion rediscovered gravity" (when dieing because of fall damage)
"Dysfunkshion got scared to death (When doing /kill when you're losing a firefight)
