i can't save thye game for some reason every time i hit esc nothing happens is there any special buttun i need to be pushing since i'm running it on DOSbox ????

pleas help i just spent all night trying to get every thing running and now i finnally get to play and i can't save the damn thing

can't wait to be able to save it lol

Does your Daggerfall folder has subfolders SAVE0 - SAVE5? If not, create them by hand.

k thanks i'll try that but i still can't enter the menue that you would get from pressing esc tho

It may be possible that something has caused DOSbox to map its own command to ESC. press CTRL+F1 anytime in DOSbox and see if anything is mapped to ESC.

Otherwise, are you using a non-US keyboard? it may be that it's not set to recognize the keymap. Just a thought.

well i'm not really a cumputer guy like i said it took me like 2 or so hour just to get to the point were i could down load the game lol.

Huh? Open the folder where your Daggerfall is, right-click on an empty space, and select New, then Folder, type SAVE0. Repeat for all other numbers.

oh ok well i did that and nothing happened so i thought i didn't do the right thing

ok new problem every time i open dosbox and try to play daggerfall i have to install it i think this might be my problem.
cause i also noticed that when ever you creat a character there is an option to save roll and when ever i click on that nothing happens at all it as if its just there for show. Its like i'm playing one of them arcade games on the internet where you can't save them you just play as long as you can untill you die. that pretty much all i can do at this point.

oh and jormun when ever i do what you told me to do again nothing happen or i just have no idea what to do ether one
