Best Place for my Khajiit Collection?

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 7:14 am

Okay, so I've decided that I wanted to collect almost every single Khajiit in the game. Where would be the best place for me to store them? The location needs to meet the following criteria:
1. Large and spacious - The cats need room to walk around and not be crowded.
2. Opulently decorated - I need some details to contrast with all the walking fur.
3. Mildly divisioned/segmented, so there's a bit of "personal space" for them.
4. Reasonably Accessible by Silt Strider, Boat, Mage's Guild Teleport, or some other Transit system that also carries followers (So I can populate it with the kitties)
5. Sparsely populated, no Significant NPCs, or at least clearable. I don't want non-khajiit competing for space!

Right now, the closest things I've found are the Redoran Manors and the tops of the Vivec cantons. Anyone have any better ideas?

Default solution would be one of the strongholds, like Hlormaren or Marandus. Both Hlormaren and Marandus are also not involved in any quest. They have their own transportation network. Hlormaren is also not far from Hla Oad. Well, it's a little walk past fjol and Ashurnibibi, but not long. And Hla Oad has a boat service.
With mods i would then go for Castle Vianden from reflection, which is placed in Sadrith Mora (to be exactly, right next to wolverine hall)

Can't think of any better than those strongholds that were mentioned. I've more interested in this... collection of yours. What kind of collection? A Command -> follow -> lead them to the right place where they can roam "free" kind? If that's the case, note that "cats" don't follow a Command Creature spell, you heartless bastard! >:′(

Screenshot once you've gotten it made, though! ;)

I use a mod that lets NPCs follow me if they like me enough :)

Made a little mistake with the castle vianden mod. It's from ReflectioN.
By the way, another good mod is Ravenloft or Korana's Solstheim Castle.

Awesome idea. I definitely want to see screenshots when this is done! How many do you think there are? Certainly between 100 and 200?

UESP wiki says 117 Khajiit in the game, 7 more if you count the expansions.

Is that 124 unique Khajiit, or is it counting generics like vampires and cattle?

I forgot about vampires... They'll have to die. But slaves are making it into my house. Sorry, no freedom for you. Have a nice place to live instead!

Well...it sounds like you're enslaving all of them. Have you thought about investing in some farmland?

If I find any nameless ones, I'll even trty to have them. I need more time in my day so I can play more Morrowind. I haven't had a chance to play since starting this thread :(

I'm not sure if I'll be able to post screenshots or not. I need a mod that lets me modify NPC inventories directly.

Kill off the Dren plantation owners/mercs(Save for the Khajiit of course).

There you go, one giant place of storage for khajiit.

Edit: Dren himself might be a problem though I suppose...he's one of the hlaalu councilor guys. Luckily killing him is an acceptable step for that questline

Nice idea! If you want to save Vvardenfell from the furry rascals lock them up in the Ministry of Truth :) . Hmm, you'll need a levitate on touch spell to do that. Or you can gather them in the Vivec Arena pit. And let them fight to the death!

You could try the palace of vivec, although it is smaller than the strongholds, it's a bit more convenient to go to.
