Lost Histories (Amusei is Missing)

SPOILERS INCOMING

I'm having a quest-breaking bug. I am currently doing the Thieves Guild quest, "Lost Histories", and everything is fine until I get down to the secret room in the Wine Cellar. The Pale Lady is there, Theranis' body is there, but Amusei is not. And he is quite important to this quest, as I recall. Can someone help me get the proper console information in order to advance this quest? I understand TES' console commands and the Construction Kit on a rudimentary level, though my knowledge is pretty much isolated to Morrowind, as I've only now had a computer that can run Oblivion. In Morrowind, whenever I had a problem like this I would simply plop down another copy of the NPC (Except for one Raven Rock quest which would cause the NPC to vanish as soon as the quest was activated). Anyway, I digress. I'd like to finish the quest, properly, but if that's not possible I'll be very satisfied with console codes. I did a search, but came up with nothing.

I am running quite a few mods. Better Cities, Open Cities (Better Cities), PXNewVampires (Parasite X New Vampires Mod). Nothing thatI think could directly conflict with this quest.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!!!

Your lizard friend isn't in the cell down there? Bummer

I don't know about the console but you think your vampire mod may have somethin to do with this? The pale lady is a vamp and it may interfere with vamp related quests, which there are more of in the TG

That's why I listed it above, but I don't really see why it would interfere. It just changes the vampiric system and stats...it doesn't really altar anything that would effect Amusei or the Pale Lady as there was an option to have it not effect NPC vampires.

Do you have a save from the prison or before? Using the console to make a new Amusei might not give you the right dialogue options, so reloading might be your best bet.

The generic console method for situations like this:
1) Look up the ID of the missing person on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Oblivion you need the Ref ID, not the Base ID
2) Open the console and type "PRID xxxxxxxxx" where the x's are the ref id. You should see the character's name at the top of the screen.
3) Type "Moveto Player" and the character will be moved to where you are.
4) You might have to resurrect them if they have previously died, Amusei is essential until the TG questline is over, so he won't have died.

You could also try the following line in the console. Just be sure to save before trying it, in case it doesn't provide the desired results.

setstage tg06atonement 52

That will give you the next journal update for that quest, to where Amusei has told you where the book is.

Out of curiousity, when you go to the bars of the cell he's supposed to be, I assume no dialogue option presents itself?
