I borrowed Oblivion on disc from a buddy of mine because I was able to buy a new computer that could run it. Anyway I start playing the game, it was working fine until one day it just stopped working properly, I recently got it on Steam and gave the disc back but the problem was still there, I tried deleteing every single file related to oblivion but the problem persists, also any saved games I try to delete come back, is that because of the Steam Cloud? I saved them because I didn't exactly wanna do some stuff over, but I don't mind if I can play the game.

The problem is, the interface is still there, I can view my inventory, map, quest, ECT, even when I have the inventory open I can see the character I made, but everythign else is gone, I tried making a new character, didn't work.

Edit: Got SS, had to make windowed to even print the screen. Not gunna crop to just the Oblivion window... too much work.

Hey, I've heard about this problem before, supposedly it's caused by HDR lighting. Try turning it off before running the game and see if it fixes the problem.
