Motivation for modding

I'm having problems with motivating myself to mod the game. I got two mods that seriously need updating, especially my Amata companion mod and the Enclave Improvement Project which are unfinished and buggy, respectively. But I just can't move myself to do it. When I start up a GECK I just put it in the background, go do something else and eventually just close it after writing a few lines of script without testing it.

You oh mighty modders how on earth can you keep yourself motivated to bring your mods to a triumphant ending? I used to have 10 mods but I've set 2 as hidden because they are not playable, 3 I removes simply because I hate them and the rest are in a playable state.

I'd love to just give the trash to someone else but nobody seems interested.
