No they didn't, they are done patching this game so they don't give two [censored] about why its happening. Freezing and framerate issues will NEVER be fixed.

Garbage software, I'm returning to amazon. 20 minutes into the Dead Horses quest and unplayable framerate of 2fps

I bought UE because I already had the PS3 version of NV, mistake.

My PS3 is perfect btw, new model, slim with SSD

I ended up not returning it. I just quit/reload when I get the lag. Too many hours in to wipe it.

I should ammend this by saying GARBAGE ENGINE, not software. Gamebryo is the problem. The actual content on FONV is gripping

Indeed I did switch.

It's because of the workaround.

With no workaround, the game is unplayable garbage YES!

But once I found the workaround and tried it myself, I'm all good and I've done 2 DLCs and like 12 levels of playing since.

I think the lag is related to the progression of the game, i.e. the more places you found, the bigger the save files are, the lag will only aggravate as you level up, eventually the game becomes barely playable.
