if this is a glitch or not it is still being a problem. every time i go to the cottonwood cove camp the attack me, just randomly even though i have the mark of caesar they still attack me and it seems that joining the legion is not a choice for me beacause the keep attacking me even though i did absolutely nothing, and because of this i cannot do the quest line for caesar's legion, if you guys could patch this i would apreciate it.

There will be no more patches for New Vegas..

Cottonwood Legion attacking can happen for a number of reasons:
1. Boone is with you..., even if he is waiting somewhere legion will still think as though he is with you. Sollution dismiss him:Send him back to either Novac or the lucky 38
2. You're wearing faction armor... (most likely NCR)
3. You continued the MQ for either House, Yes Man or NCR.. Legion will always becom hostile if you continue too far with a certain faction.
4. Your mark of ceasar is not a free card, in other words if you piss the legion of after you got. It's effect is lost... (though I doubt that this is the case)
5. And this would qualify as a glitch.. In rare instances the HH dlc as well as other dlc might reset reputations and in some cases turn factions hostile...

I would only be a glitch if he hasn't tick one of the above boxes.
Make sure you haven't done one of them and report back
