Yeah, also when u drink something, you should get empty bottles back. But fallout isnt known from its realism

Listen to this man as in fallout for exemple they explain to you how F.E.V was a chem that turned regular humans into super mutants. Do you sir think that they cared about realism back then? Then why would you think that they care for it now?

It's because they were using Nuka Cola caps only. For some reason, the people in the mojave also thought using sunset sarsaparilla caps as currency was also a good idea. I don't think the people in the wastelands think beer bottle caps are all that useful. Or it could be that people create lots of alcohol on their own, but not many (if any) create sugary fizzy drinks.

Im glad I dont get empty bottles after drinking? what would be the point in that? Call me insane, but I usually keep a nice stockpile of sunset on me at all times, I sometimes drink some to free up some weight.

Point is recycle LOL anyways, u can use the bottles for something else, you may see them as nothing more then worthless loot but somepoeple take the time to make their own [censored] in the game, and make tons of caps that way.

Because the people established that Nuka Cola caps would be their currency. They were rare enough and the traders backed them up with water. IIRC

For some reason, the people of the Mojave wastes also decided that Sunset Sarsaparilla bottle caps were just as good as Nuka Cola caps.

But yeah in all seriousness, it's a thing that plugs a bottle. It is a bit outdated since you can now put caps and twistoffs on all types of bottles.
