Where could one store stuff in Lonesome Road without it disappearing?

Any container in LR has been safe for me, on 360 and ps3 so y'know....

This, Personally I always use the HQ in Hopeville and/or the crows nest.

The Hopeville Armory is what I usually use as a base camp and a place to store stuff.

Is that the small barracks building with the computer terminal in front of its door? If so, I use that place too. It even has a bed to use. I like to decorate it various items to look like my courier camped out there for a while.
