American Propaganda. A lot of evidence points to a melting pot of opinions. Not to get political here, but take when September 11th, 2001 happened. I'm one of the few people that didn't care about it nor still don't. Same applies to the propaganda of the US before the Bomb, not everyone was a do as you will flag lover of the US.

The people may have had different opinions. But a lot of other evidence basically says the US was really fascist.
And I'm not sure what the second part has to do with anything.

I think it's more accurate to say 'paranoid and scared'. It's very mirrored of what we were like during the Cold War era, or perhaps WWll as well. Fascist is a whole unique government idea. America was just scared before the War, mainly because they pissed China off and didnt expect China to stand up to them. (The US sabotaged their claim of an oil reserve, the oil derrick built there would become the Enclave Rig)

As for the second part, the idea was to point out that not every American agreed with the sentiments of the masses.

Your right about the paranoia. But what I meant by fascist is it was basically a dictatorship at the end. Plus a big part of fascism is nationalism, which the US had in plenty.

Maybe, but nationalism isn't a display of Fascism, nationalism is also basically a countries equivalent of beating its chest to show it's the big dog on the global stage.
