Blood&Gore problem

Post » Fri Nov 20, 2009 3:26 pm

Hey,

I just downloaded and installed the Blood and Gore mod by TheLys, and I'm really enjoying it, although I have one problem ;
the player bleeds just as he is supposed to, but when I hit an NPC nothing special really happens.

So maybe I am doing something wrong or something, but I just cant get any NPC to bleed :(.

Any ideas?

thanks.

well the settings are at highest, and I've tried multiple times to beat down the whole fighters guild in balmora.
Still the only one bleeding is me, none of the NPCs... :(

Is it even possible for them to bleed?

Are you using any mods that modify dialogue? There're Blood & Gore addons for VGreetings and Combat Moves but other mods may not be compatible.

Any chance of a mod list (preferably in load order from Mash)?

Nope..I'm not using anything else than bloodmoon and the blood and gore blooadmoon add-on. And besides, the weird thing is that the blood works for the player just fine, but not for the NPCs.
Perhaps there is some setting which I haven't noticed which will make NPCs bleed?

thanks

Try including both the following add-on esps:
* Blood and Gore Morrowind alone add-on.esp
* Blood and Gore BM add-on.esp
Those are supposed to add B&G effects for MW & BM creatures, but maybe they're also needed to affect the NPCs too.
Load them in that order after Blood and Gore.esp.

[edit] Tested and verified my supposition.

Isn't blood and gore incompatible with Better Bodies? That might be the problem.

It's quite compatible.

As I surmised in my previous post - you need to also activate one or more of the add-on esps to get NPC bleeding, etc.

One thing I wondered (and we're shooting in the dark without a modlist, those really help Kithal) was that if you're using the MPP then (as that included some changes from VGreetings) adding the Blood & Gore addon for VGreetings might help.
