It's not much right now but, go check it out over at http://elderscrollsonline.enjin.com !

We will offer events, great role-play, up to date news, a great community, and much much more in the very near future! I hope to see you all there, and actiive!

If you have any questions just ask!

Update: Better one made, but not by me :P . I'll have more info when it's ready.

I love elder scrolls, dont get me wrong, but this gets me worried, i suppose if its sperate from the single player games, even if its terrible, it will not affect bethesda's single player games. Unless zeni forced bethesda to make a dlc that hints to the mmo lore which is in the far past

I am rather cautious. What I have loved most about the Elder Scrolls is the way you can inhabit the world and shape it around you. You can totally immerse your imagination into the environment. On top of that, you can customize your experience with mods, etc.

That being said, I started playing an MMO as a surrogate TES while I waited for Oblivion. But the MMO experience doesn't even try to be immersive. The world can be big, interesting, and have an interesting back story, but you don't have the same sense of "being" in the world.

I will watch the project with great interest, but I worry 1) The single player experience won't get the love and attention it deserves, or 2) The MMO will be unsuccessful and drag the franchise down with it. Everyone wants to get into the MMO market. I get that. But I'm not sure it's where I want my beloved TES to venture.

I have never played an MMO as they do not interest me, but if it has the Elder Scrolls name behind it I will give it a shot. I would rather see the team focus their energy on Skyrim expansions or sequals to the single player experience though!
