THE most noobish question you've ever heard

How do I make my NPCs walk?! I look at vanilla NPCs and all the settings they have and try to imitate them, but I can't get it to work. I have paths, too. Lame, I know.

Do they have a Wander package in their AI ?
And does it have a value greater than zero? (Bethesda usually used 64 for a small wander, 512 for average, and 2000 for large areas.. although I believe you can make it any digit)

Also, as you know, if you get too close to them they'll stand still for awhile so you can chat.

IIRC you can set 'Hello' to 0 so as to not interrupt the current task.

Yes and yes. Does it matter that these guys are interior NPCs?

It won't matter.

Have you a script with the NPC's that uses conditional wander, follow, or travel functions?

Post the details of the package:

Type:
Distance:
Duration:
Time of day:

Idle settings 2-9

Also, set their hello to 0 for testing. This will trigger the AI sooner as the player is ignored within the 512 rad.
