Texture is stretching

So, i created some cliffs right? Well the texture is extremely stretched and looks funky. How to fix that?

Sounds a lot like you have badly made UV map. Did you unwrap it yourself? Which program did you use to make the mesh?

i'm actually using the Construction Set and when i drag terrain to make it lower the side of the the part being lowered, the texture is stretching.

Aah terrain. Well I'm afraid there's no solution for that. You can try covering it with big static rocks as much as possible, or maybe you could try making "stretched" textures specifically for spaces that you stretch, but I never tried this technique.

Ok, i was afraid of that answer :S guess ill do the static technique if anything. thanks for your responses
