What did you do today in Morrowind? #11

Today? I found a Nord on the roadside in his underwear who wanted me to help him find a witch... or something. So off we toddled...

And then I had to go running after him and rescue his sorry posterior every time he saw a guar, which he insisted on trying to fight. By punching in the face, presumably, since he had no weapons. On his own. In nothing but his pants. After about he charged up to about the twentieth giant monster in as many minutes I'd had enough and thought "Y'know what? Die, ya great Nordic plank!"

So I sat down and had a snack instead. And he died.

I felt much better after that...

Veritas Marcellius, Imperial, ex-Legion, and a gifted warrior and knight of the people is reaching the climix of his journeys on Vvardenfell.

Today, he has closed out his duties with the Fighters Guild (taking Percius's side) and the Imperial Cult, and he has just been confirmed as Redoran Hortator. And, since he is also a member of House Redoran, Bolvyn Venim's death means a number of doors might now open for him. All he is waiting on now is for his Manor at Bal Isra to be completed.

Oh, and Lord Vivec summoned him today and made his life a lot easier by ending the persecution of the Nerevarine Cult and the Dissident Priests. The Blight has now reached a full-blown crisis and the Temple has finally decided to swallow its pride and trust in the Nerevarine Prophecies that Dagoth Ur might be defeated. And as such, Veritas, bearer of the Moon-and-Star, was summoned by Vivec so that he might finally be made aware of the plans Vivec was putting into place the moment he stepped off that prison boat those many months ago. The plans have been shared, and he has been entrusted with the legendary artifact Wraithguard.

Now, Destiny calls. There is still one Great House and Ashlander Tribe he must convince to name him Hortator and Nerevarine, respectively (Telvanni and Erabenimsun). And then, it will be time to put Vivec's plans into action, and begin the assault on the Sixth House.

Started a new character I've meant to start for some time. Based off a character from a book I read.

Male Nord (because of the look I wanted)
Monk Priest
Atronach
Intelligence/Willpower

Unarmoured
Blunt (for staves)
Sneak
Illusion
Restoration

Acrobatics
Mysticism
Alteration
Conjuration
Speechcraft

Idea is to be good. I'm in Vivec after Balmora and haven't killed a single creature. The reason for all the magic skills is for the calm/demoralize/command spells so I can be as passive as I can. I'll carry wood staff that I will use for extreme circumstances then enchant with an absorb health on contact. When I can I'll get the white robe from tribunal and go bare foot with extravagant clothes so I can heavily enchant them with sanctuary. No necklaces or rings. I'll do tribunal, cult and mages guild quest lines.

Retired my Imperial Acrobat/rogue in Arielle's Tradehouse in Seyda Neen, after becoming master of the Thieves' Guild, killing Dagoth Ur, fulfilling the Nerevarine Prophecies, and killing Vivec at the end of it all - at first just to see if I could, but then I decided to go with it because there are a few too many gods walking around Tamriel. As a semi-independent Blade and Imperial loyalist, he decided it's time to end the Temple nonsense.

But before retirement, he got his Acrobatics to 100. Jumping off the highest level of the Vivec cantons barely dents his health.
