Meh. i just looked up some vids of Morrowind with the enhanced graphics. all it does it make the environment look prettier. not the character models. the normal graphics are fine.

There are plenty of mods that make the characters look better. Infact virtually everyone graphics compilation I know of contains something to smooth out bodies and make heads look better/less 'screwed on'.

Hmm... can i get the Tamriel rebuilt mods do ya think?
No. Not unless you like slideshow framerates. In fact Telvanni cities in general will cripple it.

I originally played the game on an Acer laptop from 2008. Actually it's the one I'm typing this with. It has a 2.2 GHZ core 2 duo, 2GB RAM and an awful GFX chip called the 965GM, which is nonetheless a generation more advanced than the one you have.

With these specs, all higher than yours, I got an average framerate of 20-40 and a view distance measured in feet. It was playable and enjoyable, but nowhere near the same fluid experience as on my proper gaming PC.

Graphics mods as well, you will not be able to run too many texture packs without suffering a crippling performance hit, and any type of detailed meshes or particle effects will wreck the framerate. To this day I still laugh hysterically when I enter a propylon chamber, because I'd gotten so used seeing the framerate go into single figures when I originally played it.

I would really hesitate to play it on something even older than this.

I guess I'd take the chance and buy it for PC, if nothing else so you can experience the game 'old school' on low graphics if need be with the promise of good mods later on when you have the means to get a better computer.

If you were going to buy an original Xbox, I'd find the copy of Morrowind first, as that would be harder to do.

Alright. at the worst it's a 20 dollar loss. and i could probably play it on the main computer. HP Pavilion Elite HPE 210Y i think it is. but question. i may be 18. but my mom would freak if she saw nakedness on Morrowind. when you take people's armor and clothes they aren't naked right?

Default Morrowind bodies have underwear. Most popular body mod, Better Bodies, also has underwear option.

Yeah any mod that improves bodies which I know about has a 'no nudity' option.

Or alternatively you could be careful and not remove anyone's pants or greaves while your mom is around.

You won't be able to major graphic overhauls, but you should still be able to use minor graphical changes like BB, fixes like MCP and MPP, and gameplay changes.
