We are very excited to present our new http://mw.modhistory.com/permissions!

Some time ago RedWoodTreeSprite gave permission to build upon the idea (and contents!) of her http://www.zyworld.com/redwoodtreesprite/ModderOks/ModderOKs-Reuploading.htm pages. We have finally done that, and now have the Modhistory Modder Permissions Database.

This is a fantastic tool that will allow us to better track what mods we are allowed to preserve with minimal effort when sites go down. It also helps modders easily find out what resources they can use. All in all, the information we are collecting here is incredibly valuable to this entire community!

We encourage everyone, whether you create whole mods or contribute portions (ie artwork, story, etc) to mods, or participate in the modding community in any way, to add your personal preferences to our database. And this isn't meant to be limited to Morrowind only. As we expand Modhistory to include other games (and believe us, we're working on it!) this database will be mirrored. We're still working on filling it in, there's a lot of work to do....but it's coming along nicely.

So join in and help us preserve your legacy for as long as Modhistory is around....which will be a LONG time if we have anything to say about it!

This is an excellent idea! Seeing as it can be rather a nuisance for me too scan through hundreds of readmes and names, and e.c.t. to find which mods and resources I need permission to use or credit or if I need to at all.

Awesome - I'd love to get permissions from Qarl and Korana. Very glad to see Cenobite listed there with full permissions!

Once we get done transferring everything from RWTS's site, we will be putting in a lot of the specific permissions we've collected over the years of running MMH, as well as going through a lot of readmes and pulling perms out of those.

Most importantly, don't forget to add your own to the database!

Also, I might as well throw out a note that we're always looking for help at MMH. Anybody who wants to help with sorting mods, checking mods, getting screenshots, finding permissions, etc....just send me a PM here or at GHF. Anybody who helps out always gets first pick of the mods in the database, and full FTP access to the server!
