The 'bloat' issue much earlier than others or something else

edit- thanks to povuholo for moving the thread :hugs: (i posted it in the wrong bit  )

ok so after looking around for this its been discussed before here.

http://www.product-reviews.net/2011/11/17/skyrims-ps3-game-save-file-problems-after-6mb-game-breaking-or-not/

i know its been discussed all over the place but that's the only one i can find with similar file size issues, the only thing is i'm on pc, not the ps3 and have the unofficial patch which i thought combined with official patches reduced or eliminated bloating?

when the game first launched i didn't really have any lockup, freezing or crashing problems through the first couple of characters that completed almost every aspect of the game but now on the current version (1.5.26.0.5) any game where the saves go beyond 6 mb in file size its just unplayable.

they start at around 3.10 mb with the initial autosave, (the one that's made after the title sequence even with autosave disabled,) i read disabling them and also not using quick saves helped with this issue so i only manually save now.

no matter what I do when a game gets to around 5.8-6 mb + in file size I stutter or the game just locks up (which forces me to ctrl+alt+del to kill the game) after fast travelling or zoning 20% of the time, the larger the file size the greater that percentage, on my most recent unplayable character all i've done was the thieves guild and dark brotherhood and at a file size of 6.46 mb they lock up 4 out of 5 travels or zoning making it literally unplayable.

if it matters (although nothing has changed on my end) i'm on windows 7 64 bit, ati 5970 with 11.10 drivers.

those drivers although older worked fine all along and as i said nothing else has changed other than skyrims patches and the unofficial patch, i've let the game create brand new ini files after the most recent patch and these are new fresh characters created after that.

Post your load list.

Also, Oblivion reads EVERYTHING in the data directory, whether you are actually using it or not. If you have a bunch of files in there, that you aren't using, clean out the data directory, and see if that doesn't help at all.

Edit: DOH!!! Thought I was in the oblivion section....... Coulda swore that's where I was.....
