[RELz] Deadly Reflex 6 (Beta) - The Official Release and Bug

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 12:53 pm

I am using Deadly Reflex 5, which I prefer over version 6. As I do not care for the kick moves replacing the acrobatic flips and cartwheels.

I noticed in version 3(never tried that version.), NPCs had the ability to jump and jump over obstacles to get to your character. In version 5 or 6, I did not find any NPCs using a 'jump' ability. Was that function removed for version 5 and 6?

Have been searching for a good mod that gives NPCs and creatures, with appropriate skills, the chance to use 'jump' to get to your character if you are in an elevated position.(such as on a rock or wall ledge, etc.)

So far, I have not found a mod which makes this happen. Can anyone recommend a mod that allows NPCs and creatures to use 'jumping' to get to your character?

Duke Patrick's Combat Archery has an option where NPCs and creatures will climb to rocks behind you if their agility is greater than a certain amount. Read the readme for tha tmod completely, and set the appropriate ini setting for that function.

Regarding if that option was in an older version of DR, I don't know.

PS: Suggest using official threads for your mod related questions rather than opening up new ones. This is also true for your other question on DP fresh kills alert NPC mod.

Right on, thanks! Not quite what I am looking for but will give that mod a try and test it out. I will ask moderators to move this question to the Deadly Reflex thread. I searched but did not find a thread for Duke Patrick's Fresh Kills Now Alert NPCs.

As for Deadly Reflex 3, the readme said;

Flipping or jumping over obstacles:
______________________________________________________

-NPC′s can flip forward now too, or jump normally if not acrobatic enough

-they will use these skills to follow you over walls, beds, barrels, ledges, rocks, as they can identify an obstacle

-acrobatic NPC′s may sometimes use the flip to flip over you, getting behind you by supprise

I did not see these same NPC moves listed for version 5 or 6, so I am thinking it was taken out.

Each time i draw SufferThorn, game crashes. Any idea what may be causing it?

Already checked that it is caused by this mod, by disabling Deadly Reflex 6

This mod should be continued, Skycaptain is clearly gone, therefore it should be fine to continue his work, he'd want us to...

Anybody know why decapitations do not work?

Every part of the mod works fine but this...

I've even tried setting it to 100% but still no luck :S
