one problem

the objective wheal looks to be a small problem for one reason you have to stand still in all game play that i see it looks like you will have to find a nice place to hide and then chose your mission you want. this is just a personal thing that would bug the crap out of me.

You're right, but once you get to learn the maps and the flow of the game, you probably won't need to use it anymore. It's more like a guide to help you out. You don't have to use it to get the exp points of the objective you want to complete.

Besides, you probably only have to watch it for 2-3 seconds in most cases, which isn't that big of a deal.

i guess they mentioned, u can roll thru the wheel or just press one and it'll pick the most valueable mission there is currently for u! i guess that makes things a lot easier.
i don't know yet how it works for tasks that you accomplish, tho u may not have selected. e.g. u blow up the gate, however your currently selected mission is something else, will u get the xp anyways???

This is no problem because the developers said that they have a button to press that will give you the best mission for your team. From what I heard it is pressing the mouse wheel for PC.

Yes, it would be ridiculous if it didn't work that way. Let's say you're a soldier who's mission is to blow up the gate but while going there you encounter some teammates in the need of ammo. If you give them ammo, you'll get the xp for doing so, even when your main mission is to blow up the gate.

i'd compare the objective wheel to reloading, i often look for a quiet spot to get my bearings and in the meanwhile reload my gun and sidearm after killing several guys.(sometimes i even pull off a cheap kill because they didn't spot me in the dark corner)
it won't take that long, and either way, it's to show you the way, you'll put up with it in the beginning, and you won't need it later on, no problem there then, eh?

I think the side missions are generated randomly. I mean it would be mega boring once you knew where EVERY side mission area is.

Some sides missions will be always the same, which makes sense. Blowing up a second doorway can't be generated randomly. Other side-missions depend on your team status: Changing class, healing/reviving/buffing someone, give someone ammo, repair turret, take command post x, ... Others will depend on the other team: Hack turret x, interrogate player y, defuse landmine, ... Even if most objectives are the same, you'll always have another battlefield to play on depending on a lot of factors.

The objective wheel serves as a guide to show you what active missions there are, completing any objective during the game will get you exp but I would think when you select a specific objective you get a guiding arrow on the top of your screen or a waypoint on your mini map.

in the earlier vids, there was an arrow, dunno if it sticked around, but i'd hope it has

It's hopefully just a waypoint.
