I typically don't enchant stuff till way later in the game, usually I'm just looking for a randomly enchanted thing I have a habit of hoarding magic items I find in a specific storage area just for it but sometimes there is that one gem that sticks out. Have you ever found something that might not be the best magic thing around but made your day because it fit well for your character?

For me, I just started an altmer a few days ago and kept running out of torches exploring caves and ruins and stuff. I went into this one ruin and most of the people in it were already killing each other. I cut a few down that managed to survive the melee and were already injured and I notice this battlemage that died before I got into the room, I check him and find a ring of constant effect nighteye.

I found a ring with 5-10% chameleon constant enchanted on it. Useless, but pretty cool for my assassin

I once played a monk-like character. I found something called the Dagger of Friendship, in the Shivering Isles. It heals your enemy. I played with it for a while. Cool, but worthless.

I tend to find the opposite happens for me, everytime I start I new character I get good loot for the previous.
After enough dives into danger I find something however, even when I roleplay what I can and can't use for that character, thae latest one has found two rings so far one 100% resist shock.
The other 100% fire, so happy mage hunting for me I think.

Found a Grand Shadow ring on a daedra. 25% chameleon probrably my second best loot and once found for myb atronoch character a ring of spell absorbtion.
