Quick background
Saryn Urshilaku is an Ashlander with the Urshilaku tribe who was cast out for killing a tribesman out of passion. In exile he wandered the regions of West Gash, Northern Ashlands, & the Grazelands. He lives off the land using the skills & experience taught & gained by his Urshilaku warriors, honing them over time. Missing his tribe dearly but understanding he can never return, he left Vvardenfell where he hunted & roamed the Colovian Highlands. Nostalgia for his homeland caused him to return again to Vvardenfell. He arrived after the eruption of Red Mountain, seeing his home in ruins. Instead of heading north to Solstheim, he traveled west to Skyrim.
That's his back story in a nutshell, left out a lot of details but that's it. The questions I have are about the Ashlander tribes, & Dunmer religion.
1. Did the Ashlander tribes follow the Tribunal, or stayed worshipping their ancenstors?
2. Did the Ashlanders stay away from the political conflicts & affairs of larger organizations (the Imperial Legion, the Great Houses, the various guilds) & keep to themselves? Were they aware of current events i.e. the Civil War in Skyrim?
3. Anyone have a link where I can find more information about Ashlander tribes daily lives, customs, traditions etc?
Any information/answers will be very helpful & greatly appreciated!
