Post » Mon Nov 23, 2009 6:23 am

everytime some one has a awsome idea or a hot topic the admins dont want to accept it they just go NOOOOOOO! THIS IDEA TOOO EPIC IT IMPERFECT and when some one tells them this is wat we want they go WE KNOW WAT YOU WANT NOT YOU PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY BUY THE GAME EEEEEAWWWWW EEEEAWWWWWW so a note before this topic gets locked or i get banned you stupid devs are stubborn as jacka$$es (or a mule for proper refrences) and you idiots need to accept it we have good ideas that you wish you thought of so stop locking topics and simply accept it

You got it all wrong. The moderators are trying to keep the forum organized. We don't need a thousand threads when we could just use one thread for a general thing, ie, weapons or vehicles.

That's a good way to get kicked off the forum. While I agree that it would be nice to just let people dream about stuff that will never actually show up in the game, there's no reason to leave a thread that has no relevance. At this point, the game is already pretty much done, so there's no point in leaving up a ton of threads that mean nothing. BTW, if you try to get around the censor with misspellings, you'll get a warning and get banned.

bleh

Yeah, I'm sure we'd have a great game here if the devs listened to and added whatever suggestion ADD 12 year olds wanted. Go make your own game if you're that good, or at least mod it and see what it takes for all these bigger things people want.

There is always someone that will call moderators stubborn or horrid when they are actually just doing their job, and doing it fine.

There are a TON of idea dump threads that keep the forum in a more organized condition. Post in there and don't make duplicate threads, and they won't get locked.

We got it all figured out then. The devs lurk the forum for every bad idea they can find and implement it, then lock the threads with good ideas. Thanks for showing me the light OP!

Last time i checked, it was their game.

Sure we come up with some good ideas, and im sure a few of the really popular things will get included in someway (as long as its within the do-ability of the engine) but the thing is... they have every right to veto an idea if it somehow messes up their vision of what the game should be. They're making it, after all.

Actually there were about 3 other thread about armor customization on the forum already, that's why it was locked. So calm down your corn dogs.

Armour and clothing, vehicles and all types and transportation, Owning a business, Area 51, Music/Radio and playing as a ghoul are the most common topics on here. Plus alot of people that don't see that "what I want in New Vegas Topic." The Moderators do a good job keeping the forum organized but people that don't know how or don't care to do a search make their job hard.

For every example that you give us that got closed, we could find you at least 2 other threads with the exact same topic, plus some really big idea threads that probably include them.

If you wanna be that black and white about it, yeah. I do know some 10 year olds on forums and in real life that are more mature than some 20 year olds, but for the most part, yah.

Age would be determined by a complex maturity test. This guy would fail. All would be right in the world again.
