No clue. I finished old world blues and used the teleporter to get back, and the game crashed right away. I restarted the game and my gamesave is gone.

if it crashed while saving it could result in a corrupted auto save but shouldn't affect any hard saves, i

The fact that the Op says 'gamesave' and not 'gamesaves' hints that he may just have a single save game, possibly autosave. No quicksaves or hard saves.

Yikes. Well, in that case he's screwed. You should always save early and save often in Bethesda gamebyro engine games.

Gamebryo was just the renderer, not the engine.
