Title says it all, I just installed Morrowind Overhaul - Sound and Graphics, and I'm wondering if it's possible to turn off the water? It's killing my FPS. I just want the regular default MW water back.

Did you check the texture files the mod added? I don't know if removing the files for water would help, but have you tried?

If you're using http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1204129-morrowind-graphics-extender-mge/ you can turn off the water in the Distant Land tab in MGEgui. If you don't use http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1204129-morrowind-graphics-extender-mge/ I'm not sure how to do that.

You can't have default morrowind shaded water and MGE, the reason is something about how it renders the water. Sorry friend, but you have to make a choice, MGE or default MGE water.
