I thought I knew this game inside out.. but today i stumbled upon lost boy cavern.. were it not for the warning note outside I wouldve ignored it as just another cave. But if you dont know, lost boy cavern is a non questbook quest which contains a short story of an exiled mage who became a lich. Its one of the few dungeons in the game to contain a backstory (ebrocca is another) Saying that.. anyone know of any other dungeons with a backstory?

There's a cave with a lost ayleid ruin in it or "lost city" that one is cool and has a backstory too.

Oblivion was/is a beautiful game to be fair. I got it the day it came out and still enjoy playing it now and still discover new things. Don't see why people didn't like it that much, maybe it's just the hive-mind of retro [censored]. Vilverin has a small backstory if you go in deep enough, there is a sacrificed Khajiit in there with a journal.

Not too long ago I ran across that farmhouse just to the northeast of the Kvatch mesa, that leads to a quest. Had never had any reason to be in that spot before, saw the house in the distance and went to investigate. Quite a surprise.

I rested in the Bloated Float the other day. Didn't see that coming.

I spoiled everything for myself. It was the worst thing I ever did, I'm not really surprised by things anymore I still love the game though.
