I always thought that Haskill is someone referred to in a certain book in the Shivering Isles that I forget the name of. Bascially, the story goes with a Wizard that comes into the Shivering Isles. He goes to Sheogorath to ask for magical secrets, and sheogorath challenges him to a contest. He must go 3 days without going getting killed by Sheogorath. The wizard tried to back out, but it was too late. For 3 days the wizard grew paranoid, thinking everything around him was a trick. On the last day, he went to Sheogorath and begged him to tell him what he did, he was going insane from the paranoia. Then, Sheogorath told him that he had done nothing, and it was his own fears that turned him insane. In the end of the story, it said that the wizard greeted newcomers to the Shivering Isles and warned them, that Sheogorath had already won, and is in control.
I always thought this would be haskill, despite the fact at the beginning of the story the adventurer has a different name. But perhaps Sheogorath changed it? Hmm...
