Marksave all NPCs to esp-file (?)

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 9:27 am

Hi!
I cant seem to find any topic addressing my problem so I have to ask myself!

My problem is that I want a esp-file consisting of only the NPCs from the Morrowind.esm. The only way I can seem to do this is to load the morrowind.esm in the CS and then doubble-click and save on everyone of the 2880+ NPCs so the "mark of change" will appear and then I can save these "change NPCs" to esp-file.

My question is are there another way to get all the NPCs to wear the "mark of change" so I dont have to double-click through all of them??

I have really searched for an answer to this without any of luck, would be very greatful for a hand!

Load MWEdit. Open Morrowind.esm (it will open as "noname1.esp"). Select NPCs tab. Select all NPCs. Select File->Export->.csv file. Select File->Import->.csv file. Save as .esp file.

Thanks, for trying to help me, but unfortunately this didn't made it.

I downloaded MWEdit, loaded in Morrowind.esm, selected all NPCs, exported the .csv file....and when I imported the same .cvs file (it says ".csv record") it loaded up, but I was unable to reach the menu buttoms to do any save .esp and when I tried clicking on only reasonable button in the little window (the "create"-buttom) it gave me all all kind of errors about "Invalid input was received....blablabla".

I have downloaded/re-installed MWEdit without any further success...

Hah! It's much simpler than that!

MWEdit. Load. Select all. Right click, Make Active. Save. PROFIT!!!
