For whatever reason, I imagine four distinct swamp/jungle/mangrove areas. The border near Cyrodiil is heavily implied to be carbon-copy of the Blackwood region from TES:V. Bordering Morrowind, I see something more along the lines of a more tropical version of the Bitter Coast we saw in Morrowind that is very swampy/marshy. Along the coast, I always imagined something like Ha Long Bay, Vietnam and the interior was like a fantastical version of the Louisiana Bayou. As for architecture, I feel the Mayans would be more appropriate since they were more isolated (like the Argonians) and in a really dense, dangerous environment (like the Argonians).
