Savegame compatibility

Hey,

I've just used TESfaith to "move" an island from a mod that I've been playing with.

I was wondering, is there any way to make my savegame compatible with the new "moved" version?

At the moment, the island in my savegame has moved but doesn't show up on the map, and there are lots of floating objects where the island used to be.

EDIT: I've tried cleaning the save using the "Reduce a 5mb Save Game File to 1MB" method described http://www.mwmythicmods.com/Archives/Mods/How%20to%20clean%20a%20saved%20game.htm, but now I'm getting a CTD when I try to load my game.

EDIT 2: Tried again from a back-up and just deleted the CELL records instead of the NPCC records. All the NPCC records other than the ones in the CELLs I chose to keep were deleted automatically, and it works!
(The errors were because I deleted the NPCC records in the CELLs I wanted to keep)

Updated the map in Wrye Mash and... success! Island moved!

I don't think there's a way to do this, actually. Unfortunate though.
