Basically, I am in the mood to create a druid, or druid-like character in Skyrim. However, I am already struggling at the first hirdle - Race.
Now, I know a little bit of TES lore, more than some, less than most. So, Breton has always spoken "Mage" to me, that and Altmer, however I cannot see a Breton as a 'Druid', due to the type of civilization and society the Bretons are and live in. An Orc Shaman sounded rather cool, and doable, however quite a few people have already done this so that deters me somewhat. Imperial? Well, it seems that's just too much of an escape goat, too easy to fall back on it. Dunmer, perhaps ones of the Ashlanders (I should really clarify in my mind the difference between Ashlanders and 'regular' Dark-Elves), however I had hoped to leave the Dunmer for my Rogue-type character.
So, I understand looking at the above paragraphy I have set up some barriers that have restricted my options, I should probably consider dismantling them!
What about a Wood Elf? At one with the trees of the Valenwood. But, is his reasons for coming to Skyrim? None that I can think of.
Furthermore, does anyone have any suggestions in terms of perks and schools etc I should tap into? Keep my fingers in many jars? Or?
Thanks, Celtichugs.
