Main character canon questions...

Obviously this is all speculation here, but how would the ideal characters be setup throughout the games? i.e. what would you deem as most canon when setting up the main characters.

To better illustrate, I've setup a Breton character named "Dovahkiin" as the most canon character for Skyrim. Why? Breton's have Dragonskin which ties along with being dragonborn. It was a hard decision between that and a Nord, but I figured since you're suppose to be visiting Skyrim, it would make the most sense.

Oblivion would ideally have an Imperial named "Bendu Olo" since it's (from what I understand) already programmed as default for the character. I've setup Morrowind with a High Elf named "Nerevarine" since I couldn't find any other information about a default name for the main character there. I also haven't played Morrowind past the first quest, so I'm unsure of the full story behind the game (i.e. if there was a better name to suit the character).

I also haven't played Arena or Daggerfall so I couldn't speculate on what the character should be named.

Yes, I understand these games are open-ended as far as what you want your character to be / to be named, but to better illustrate an actual canon gameplay, how would (in your opinion) this be ideally set-up?

Morrowind - A Dark Elf
Oblivion - An Imperial
Skyrim - A Nord

Though there is no offical race/gender for each character in each game, they are just given a name "Eternal Champion" "Champion of Cyridil" "Dovahkiin" "Nerevarine" and left at that.

Understandable that you would choose the homelands for each character, but what would be an explanation as to why you'd only be "visiting" each of the lands? I've noticed that in many instances, your character is treated by others as a visitor to the land, and not native.

I also realize the titles given (i.e. Dovahkiin, Champion of Cyridil, etc...) are just that, and not names; but since a default name was never given for the characters in Morrowind or Skyrim, I figured those would be the next best bet.

Ideally, I'm trying to make playthroughs of each one in which the lore is actually fulfilled as such. Though... without any information pertaining to the future use of the series, I'm unsure of how Bethesda plans on tackling the lore behind the civil war in Skyrim. I'm having a hard time figuring out how they plan on continuing the story without specifying which side the hero of Skyrim chooses.
