think the "extra" is added because of the delay?

House ending being canon would be awesome, imagine a post apocalyptic modern city pushing the technolgy ahead in an hostile environment surrounded by irradiated territories, monsters and degenerate cavemen, I can already see it happening.

The House ending will definitely be Cannon.

Since they like going with the good endings, and independent New Vegas is most likely.
This leaves two possibilities, House ending or Independent Ending. Since House survived this long and is the most fitting to rule new vegas it will most likely be his ending that is chosen. Plus he says he is going to train the Currier who will eventually take over for him when he is done. This means that in the end you will be defacto ruler of New Vegas. Houses calculations are also invaluable to New Vegas's survival and with the Independent ending being vague about the details on what Yes Man is doing it is likely that House ending is Cannon.

Smaller details will be more interesting to find out. Do you talk down the generals on Hoover Dam or did you kill them.

I also think the Great Khans heading North is also what happens.]

I have to say though anything other than the house ending (which I have yet to play, I went independent 1st and Legion Second) would ultimately disappoint me as cannon since House's ending make the most sense logically.

It cant be House, for the same reason the chip didnt arrive the day before the war, or why Liberty Prime gets blown up, or why the bombs droped in the first place

Fallout cant tell a happy story. House promises (and ill beleave him on it) to rebuild humanity and went as far as to say hed send space ships to colonize other planets.

and House would change everything... but war... war never changes...

That said, i think in FO4 or perhaps another spin off or later fallout, some one will take the NCR and the brotherhood down a few notches. The legion is savige enogh to keep the wasteland "wastlandy", and Arizona is looking more and more the place not to be (and thus, the place to be in fallout) unless Beth pulls something like New York or Chicago out of there hat... but back to my point, legion will probly get it, simply for the sake of being the most brutal outcome.

But thats just my opinion, and im wrong 90% of the time.

In response to what Pethro said, I think the next FO4 will be something on the East Coast. Whether people like it or not, the events of FO3 and even Mothership Zeta is all canon. I hope FO4 takes place in another big city, because even though Las Vegas is a big city, most of it was flat land.

This is for Pethro,

The way I see it is House owns New Vegas before the game, he'll own it after the game.
That's what I think anywho, House.
If House wins New Vegas stays stable, this doesn't happen if Yes Man wins! Damn, I hate Yes Mna.
House wins, both large factions loose, they stay level.
House is all about stability mann!

As for what he said about sending people into space to colonize other planerts, I just don't think he was serious, I think he just meant it as a metaphor, ya know, to show how advanced and powerful he'd become.

I do not want to return to D.C. we've seen it already. I would like to see a new place! *cough* Arizona *cough*
We've already been to places infested invaded populated by the NCR, I mean there's loads of them in New Vegas, it'd be nice for the focus to be on someone else.

I've seen quite a few people wanna go back to D.C. for some strange reason! Why not somewhere new?! We all know that the Brotherhood have that place pretty much locked down. Broken Steel () even went as far as to show the BoS took the Enclave out of the equation, only a few soldiers remain.
What's next for D.C.? Side with the human-hating Mutants to face the BoS? Or maybe with some overall clad Raiders could battle against the power armour wearing soldiers (even though I've seen Raiders kill BoS before in FO3  )?
