Anybody else out there salivating for a official book of lore? Akin to the quality of the LTD edition art book? eg a History of Nirn.
Would be wonderful would it not? Of course it would be hard, as the more vague regions of the lore would have to be made concrete. I imagine it would have to be introduced in volumes as well, as the lore grows or is amended with each new game or book etc. It would have to contain timelines, evolving political and topograpical maps, regional and national histories etc. Basically a big papery hard on for the TES universe.

And as we all know bookshelves anywhere in the universe only hold 18 books so they would have to keep it concise....

What is this official lore you speak of?

The closest you're going to come is the http://www.imperial-library.info/content/pocket-guide-empire-and-its-environs-first-edition and http://www.imperial-library.info/content/pocket-guide-empire-and-its-environs-third-edition editions of the Pocket Guide to the Empire, which shipped with Redguard and Oblivion respectively.

There outta be a "Book of Hours" that lists, sources, and tries to define all the obscure concepts. Or would that stand in direct violation of the spirit of obscurity?
