Just bought the 5th anniversary edition (disk version) of the game and it WAS working fine, and with mods. About a week ago it wouldn't even load or it would load to the Bethesda Softworks screen for two seconds, close, and a message saying, "oblivion is not working. windows is searching for a solution to the problem," would appear. I've tried uninstalling oblivion and all mods at least 3 times, turned off UAC, installed Oblivion outside of the Programs Files folder, deleted the oblivion.ini, and none of it has worked. Does anybody have a solution?
There should not be any updates that are causing oblivion to not work; I'm running (or attempting to run) pure vanilla oblivion.
EDIT: All my drivers are up to date as well, no second monitor, no hp printer (no printer at all), and oblivion still refuses to work.
