Any love for LVC?

Any love for this old mod? I know it hasn't been updated in a while, it says it is incompatible with MCA 5 and above so It seems i'm having to use older versions of a few more mods for compatibility sake and i'm wondering, is it really worth it? is there another way I can reach a compromise or find an alternate way to have similar features and a nice stable mod load order?

If there is a way to get it to run seemlessly with MCA 5.2, most of my headaches will be over, I have tried searching for patches and things. I will be very grateful to anyone who can point me in the right direction

That's odd. I've been using LCV (Love it) with MCA 5.2 and had no real problems,

Getting a fully stable mod order feels more like a futile gesture, there's always going to hiccups somewhere. Just roll with it. :)

It is most likely that *if* 5.2 added any NPCs to shops that weren't in 5.1, you will find them in there after hours. It's not really a game stopping incompatibility, it probably won't even give an error, but it will defeat the spirit of LCV. Stability isn't an issue, it's more like personal preference.

Didn't LVC update to 6.1? Or was that MCA?

I'm using it myself; I preferred the oldest version but it's incompatible with my version of Morrowind, so... (sigh).

Really? I haven't tried it yet, I just read in the readme and in Mlox that it wouldn't be compatible, maybe I should just bite the bullet and try it out

TES, that was MCA that was updated.

ladyonthemoon, how incompatible? Is yours a non-English version or unpatched?

Yeah, Robiteeh, there's no harm in trying it. MLOX is not really an intuitive program. It only knows the rules that have been input. If someone has put in the rule base that the LCV MCA patch requires MCA 5.1, then it will tell you there is a problem if you don't have MCA 5.1 loaded. It would throw the same error if you changed the name of MCA 5.1 to just MCA. Unless the program is designed to read the header of the file, it can only go by the name.

EDIT: Multiple edits for typos. Not enough coffee, apparently.

I've been using 'LCV 03-13' with 'MCA 6.1' for quite a time now (since the latest MCA came out). No problems so far..

Robiteeh, those errors are likely associated with your MCA install. Are you certain you installed the mod correctly? Might want to check the readme again.

Yep, figured out my errors problem on my own, turns out I had esp's activated which should have only been active when merging levelled lists, but thanks a lot for your help everyone.
