I was just about to say fin gleam, damn.

Talk to M'aiq the Liar? He runs incredibly fast between Anvil and somewhere else, so when he stops you have to be swift if you want to talk to him. He says some really funny things.

Ah yes, the Moth Priests. Keepers and diviners of The Elder Scrolls. Made blind by reading the prophesies. My single most anticipated moment when I installed Oblivion was to find them.

Anyways, here is a page on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Easter_Eggs

As far as side quests, I enjoyed;

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Lich_of_Lost_Boy_Cavern
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:The_Sirens_Deception
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:The_Forlorn_Watchman_(quest)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Secrets_of_the_Ayleids
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Ghost_Ship_of_Anvil
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:A_Brush_With_Death
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:A_Shadow_over_Hackdirt
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Mazoga_the_Orc_(quest) *ahem* I mean, Sir Mazoga
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Paranoia
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Where_Spirits_Have_Lease (and gain a respectable home in Anvil)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:An_Unexpected_Voyage

Actually I could keep going. I enjoyed the side quests more so than the guilds and MQ.

There are several places in the game where you will run across a goblin who has drunk himself to death. Your task is to find them all.

I think I've found one of those goblins, I thought it was just a co-incidence though. Silly me. I'll have Rayn look next time she's on one of her wandering sprees, she needs her boots repairing first.

Aha, the drunken Goblins, I'd forgot about them. I think I've come across two in all my time in Cyrodiil, one of which is somewhere in my location. *cough*

One of my favourite easter eggs is a reference to the Billy Goats Gruff.
I don't want to give away too much if you've not seen it yet but when travelling along the roads, always be careful of what's under the bridges. :teehee:

Another thing I got a laugh from is the trapped throne in one of the ruins. Sit on it and get clobbered by a swinging mace. :)

If you have the Shivering Isles, there is an easter egg at the northernmost point of the island.... you'll find an altar of sorts... and a note. :hubbahubba:

Yup, I know that one too well. Found in the fort east of the IC Isles, just before you turn on the road to Cheydinhal.

One of the best of all is the New Sheoth Graveyard. A dynamic Easter Egg!

I heard there was one where you find a dead body with a journal and a potion that raises your Acrobatics to 3000 or something. Where is this?

Morrowind. At least it sounds like the Tarhiel thing in Morrowind.
