Solsthiem!

I'd love to see it. I Don't think Bethesda will do it. I do think there will most definitely be a mod that does it. :)

I would be nice so yes I would like to. However unless they can come up with something unique, and new for Solsthiem I doubt we will see it, even as an expansion. Though with a year to wait for the base game, and who knows how long of a wait after that for DLC who knows?

What would be the point? I thought expansions were meant to take you to a place that isn't exactly the same as the main game,

It would be a waste honestly, it's a stupid idea. I want something new.

I don't think we should have Solstheim... I mean Skyrim basically has that nature/environment already. I would want something more unique than the original, some place different. Tribunal and Bloodmoon was completely different from Morrowind, and so was SI from Oblivion.

I doubt we'll see it because they won't want to redo it.
Besides, it would be weird to play through it because...
THAT ONE BUSH MOVED!!!!

One thing out of place might ruin it for me, it wouldn't be the same...

But yes I want it too...

They might make a few small islands and it be out subsitute, and it could work just as well...
maybe...

Well, since its been a long time since we visited Solsthiem I think it would be even stranger IF THAT ONE BUSH WAS STILL IN THE SAME PLACE!!!

Nah... Bloodmoon already had it and there is no reason to destroy the feeling that game gave us there. And expansion packs are given to us so that we will see something new, not something old. A little peek into High Rock, Orsinium or Hammerfell would be nice... Orsinium would be especially good now that I think of it. But thats propably too far inland... Maybe Jehanna then...

I don't see a reason to at all... We'll get plenty of frozen places in Skyrim and I'd actually like to see a new type of land in the expansion(s). like we in Morrowind got a major city and a frozen island in contrast to Morrowinds often very grey and ashy landscape.

If anything I'd expect an expansion/DLC to have a completely different landscape style. Not a flat mini-Skyrim.

Also the devs would pretty much be forced to draw up a Vvardenfell landscape in the background because Solstheim is pretty close to it.

I voted yes - no. Although I like the idea of more expansion I doubt bethesda would have the time e.t.c to incorporate it. I don't even know what solsthiem is but I like the idea of more room to play.If anybody could tell me please PM me.

Nah, I would want to be able to go to Atmora though. That's the continent north of Skyrim where the Nords originally came from, but it's not on any map.

I don;t see why they would, it would be boring. Solsthiem was so great in Morrowind because it showed off a new area, filled with new culture. All expansions do this, they add new, exciting areas and cultures. Skyrim has the same exact snowy mountains, the same exact culture, and the same icy rivers. No point in my opinion, give us more variety in the game instead of more of the same.

Yeah, you're right. The idea that anything could have possibly changed at all in the many years since we first visited Solstheim is simply ludicrous.

I clicked yes that I would want to see it, but really, I'd want to see as much as possible. I don't know whether it would be worth the effort from the developers. And as for will we get it, almost definitely not.

Now I want to make a poll about "Speling ! Do you think we'll get it in these forums ?"

Anyhoo. :P Love Solstheim to bits, but I wouldn't want it in Skyrim any more that I would want Oblivion gates bursting all over the place. It was good, but it's been done. I wouldn't object to a few hints and references, to connect the games in lore, though - the "St Jiub" way, I guess.

Also, they'd have to build the game in the same scale as Morrowind or otherwise down/upsize it which I doubt many would like.

I would really like the familiarity of Solsthiem, but I don't think we will. I want to see the refugee camps (if post IC), the ghost town of Raven Rock, or the wreckage of Moorsing (Ithink that was what it was) Glacier; but I feel Bethesda wouldn't do it because the people might complain that "We've been their before, why do we have to again." Still, I have the feeling that everything necessary to make Solsthiem would be in the CS and with it being set is Skyrim, not many new meshes would be required.
