A quick question of ethics

While playing a pure spellcaster character in DF with spell absorption advantage , would using area on target destruction spells over and over for free be considered as cheating or just one of the perks of having the spell absorption advantage? Just asking to see how the community feels about this . Personally I cannot imagine playing a pure spellcaster character anymore without aoe spells and absorption .

I'd consider it as your character training, others might not feel the same though. It's completely up to you if you feel it's cheating or not, I used to do almost the same with my custom sorceress, although I didn't use area on target spells, I simply cast a few spells until my magicka ran out every time before going to sleep.

I see it as pretty dang cheap, so I don't do it. Consequently, I don't play pure spellcasters.
