Morrowind imperial cult oracle quests.aspects of the aedra t

Will the aedra reveal themselves the way they did during the imperial cult oracle missions? Or like akatosh's avatar in oblivion? One of the interesting in game questions of tes has been the aspects of the aedra. Many believe they are not involved in Nirns affairs. At least not in the way the daedra are. This is not my point however, I have my own opinion on that.

I say all this because of the exceptional role the aedra play in the imperial cult. I remember finding the boots of the apostle in some cave near Gnisis. The oracle had sent me there to find them bc she had a vision of them. These were if if I remember the boots tiber septim wore when he journeyed to see the greybeards.in game they were kickass high armor level boots with a powerful levitation enchantment. Naturally looking up at the high ceiling of the cave and spying some organic looking ledges and bridges I used the boots to jet up to these. High on the ledge there was a woman.i can't remember the details of our exchange but she asked for a divine intervention scroll in exchange for this enchanted skirt called Mara's skirt. She also mentioned Mara somewhere. On returning to the chapel hq the oracle told me judging on my experience that I had met an aspect of Mara. A similar experience happened again but with an aspect of julianos or zenithar.

The most memorable one and my favorite(along with probably many other players) happened at ghostgate on my way to the final stages of defeating dagoth ur in the red mountain region. I met a man named wulf who said he was "just an oldi legionare". He knew I was on my way to red mountain and so wanted to give me a "lucky old coin". The coin granted me a power which lends the player substantial luck bonus for a period. After this he disappears never to be seen again. If u ask around ghostgate they'll tell u they've never seen or heard of any wulf. after completing the mq I visited the oracle who asked me of the mans face resembled the man on the coin which it apparently did. She said that she believed wulf was an aspect of tiber septim giving me in a way his blessing for the finishing of my quest.

I wonder thinking back. What does Tiber septim think of the current mess? What will the aedra do?or what won't they do? Will Talos appear? In what way?i don't mean will he appear in his heroic glory and wrest the fate from the thalmor. But will he assure the priests or the people or anyone that yes he dwells with the aedra in aetherius?maybe that this is all a trial or a testing for the righteouss or something. or just not appear at all.

What say u?

An aspect of Talos is present in Skyrim like 100% of the time. Well, it may be, at least some things in the game seem like a special someone is walking the walk.

Hahaha true. But he hasn't founded his own empire yet right? I guess I'll just wait for the dlc lol.jk

The other aspects of Talos didn't need to found empires either, but yes, our hero is not quite there yet. It could also be that he will not finish the mantling.
Another aspect of a devine is Alduin, and Kyne is somehow represented by this tree thing (I always forget the name) IIRC.

The aedra seem a lot more present in Skyrim anyway since MW took part in a daedric based society and OB consisted mostly of the story around Dagon.

Yeah in a certain way. I don't think that I would say the dragon born is an aspect of Talos. He may be chosen by the gods. Wulf wasnt a real person he was just an actual visitation. More like an angelic visitor. Sort of like how Paul writes about how u may be "entertaining angels" tho not know it.

I do see your point tho, I'm not dismissing it. And it's the elder gleam tree I think. Unless than that's the name of the tree in white run. I would say that elder gleam would be like a creation almost like a vessel or statement of kyne. Just like dragon born might be a vessel or disciple like figure of Talos tho he/she may not know it. Or a son to Akatosh.depends.both maybe. Neither. Or the doom driven hero overseen by the whole panoply.aedra and daedra. Sithis and lorkhan.

Yes, eldergleam, thank you.

Well Talos consists afaik of Hjalti the tactitian (aka Tiber Septim), Zurin the mage and Wulf the shouter. In Skyrim we have Ulfric/Tallius as tactitian, the Dragonbor nas Thu'um user and... someone has to be the mage. Maybe there will ne more in a DLC or I really missed some stuff during the CoW quest line. But judging from Beths preference of turning their heroes into gods lately, I wouldn't be suprised about a Talos related epiloge.

Mind you that this is not mere speculation but scientific non-fact. ;)

Warrior, Mage, and Thief. Wulfharth was the warrior, Zurin the mage, and Tiber the thief. I guess that'd make the dragonborn the warrior, Ulfric/Tallius the thief, and *blank* the mage if this were to be a mimic of a mimic. Nothing from the CoW, StrelockCH

I stand by my theory that Tullius, Ulfric and the Dragonborn will become the new Talos. Tullius and Ulfric are ideal candidates for the tactician and warrior, respectively, and if the PC is Shezzarine (Shorine?) as seems fairly likely, then he's got a connection to Zurin Arctus that might allow him to stand in for the mage.

I always felt like something was missing in the CoW quest line. I mean, you stumble upon something similar like the heart of Lorkhan and suddenly it's gone without futher notice.
