The Bloated Float quest- How is it possible?

Laugh it up console boy, I believe there is actually a mod that covers this - (at least up to a point)!

Yeah, I think the mod that lets you sail ships does it. If not, then there's a support mod for that mod to allow it.

Ha! It's weird to see the PC users finally "pretending" something. No mod for this one, huh?

A lot of times, it's better to pretend than to install a mod. Mods generally reflect the taste of the mod-creator, so mods that make big changes tend to introduce at least some "features" that jar with one's own preferences. They often cause conflicts with other mods, or create unintended problems. And the bigger the mod, the more chances for conflicts and bugs.

In this case, a mod would at least have to make changes to the landscape, and add or alter several bridges. This would have to be done with great care to make it fit seamlessly into the existing landscape. To make it realistic, you'd have to add more boats, and you'd have to animate them to bring it to life. (There aren't any animated boats in the game to work from. It would have to be done from scratch.) It takes a really good modder to do this kind of thing well.

No, as a matter of fact I use a mod that does make the Niben Navigable by boats. And I use another mod that allows me to sail boats up and down the Niben.

Why you feel you needed to use this word "finally" is beyond me. Many of us who play on PC have been talking for years about how we use our imaginations instead of mods.

My idea of a good Leyawiin too. I know I can mod but I′m somewhat reluctant to use more and more mods.

Hee! I prefer imagination over mods in many cases. The Valley of Horses with its stable for the Arcane University called Equestria is just one example. It's located in that valley right under the University bridge, guarded by domesticated imps and a dog named Bandit and the stable master is an old Bosmer named Thernd who is Thaurron's brother, and. . . well, you get the idea. :bunny:

Quoted for truth. This is why most of the mods I use are the ones I create myself. The ones I do not make I often change. I generally stay away from big mods that make tons of changes, like the body mods or UI mods, because they can be a pain in the rear to remove.

A. I'm not a boy, nor am I young. I'm a 42 year old lady.

B. I'm not laughing, really. I'm one of the few console playerrs it seems who's not looking to get into a PC/console war. I have full appreciation for what you all do, but when something comes up that intrigues me, I usually ask questions or poke :poke: at the PC crowd for my own amusemant. .

C. thank you very much. and good day.

 That's a good question actually, who pretends more? Vanilla gamers or moders? I do my fair share of pretending in TES, but have limits. I can't see pretending to be married or attached to anyone (unless they're one of my character's followers, for instance). But I do pretend eating & sleeping is necessary.

This sounds like a topic for a new thread I think.

I questioned that some time ago, but Renee checked and verified she was a woman
