what are the Argonian gladiatorial teams of Black Marsh?

I've just been reading up on Black Marsh on the UESP and when looking at the cities of Black Marsh it seems every city was home to a famous gladiatorial team. What is this all this about?

Wow never heard of it but it sounds so cool. Maybe if the next game is in Black Marsh we get the Arena questline back or something similar, or some open field tribe wars!

These names are from one of Arena's files. Said file is an artifact from when Arena was going to focus on arena combat rather than ending the simulacrum.

This basically means nothing in terms of the games. We have yet to see many of the creatures those teams are even named after. Griffins, Wyverns, and such.

Don't believe anything you read on UESP. Their lore and summary of lore is sorely lacking.

Stick with the games and books.

And TIL.

On topic, I have never heard of anything of that sort. Like Hellmouth said, UESP is not really great with lore...

Basically, the books. After all, TIL is the out of game library for TES, and it's a library I actually like visiting!

People believe Arena lore no longer counts as official lore.

I think it is more of a they moved on and are not looking back kind of thing. Certain aspects of each game change in the next so this is a somewhat true statement.

Yeah. I simply agree on that. I was just putting the truth out there.
